Nick Van Galen
Born in Owen Sound and raised in Orangeville, Nick Van Galen has spent his entire life in Dufferin and Grey County. Playing lacrosse for the Orangeville Northmen, each summer he always took a summer job between his semesters at the Univeristy of Guelph and somewhere along the way he found himself enjoying the tireless work of landscaping as well as architecture more than the classroom. His passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces continued to grow as he took on larger clients as well as more extravagant scenery, and “The Outside Guy” was born. A man of tireless work ethic, with local knowledge and a background in construction, the growth of the community needed an outside guy, and Nick was there to answer the call.

We also do interior work as you will see in our list of services. We don’t just do anything…we do everything. Our company is based just north of Orangeville, in the town of Mono, however, we will go wherever we are needed.
The Outside Guy has worked from Toronto to Sudbury. Cottage country is also a specialty of ours as we have all the equipment necessary to access any property, whether by boat, ATV, or truck. The Outside Guy prides itself on working hard, within budget, and completing jobs in a timely fashion. The customer and pride in their property is our number one priority.
